Point Pleasant Resort: located on the East End of St. Thomas, built on a rugged mountain terrain, this condo resort is touted as the first "Eco-Tourist" resort on the island. The majority of units are one bedroom suites (approx. 625 sq. ft.) with large outdoor balconies. Some smaller units (studios) and very few two bedrooms are also available. Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina: Heading East from Point Pleasant take a left turn into this complex. If you pause briefly at the top of the hill you'll be rewarded with a most spectacular view of Pilsbury Sound and St. John!

Further east puts you at Secret Harbour Beach Resort.  Located on a calm Caribbean cove, this small, well managed condo/hotel is popular with tourists as well as locals. Very few condos ever come on the market and are usually snapped up rather quickly with sale prices some of the highest on the island. A studio (think SMALL) can be as much as $350,000 and one bedrooms loom well above $400,000. In the same complex, a seperate condominium association - Secret Harbour View Villas has similar units for somewhat less. So if you're not set on walking right out to the beach, you can be a little bit more secluded and walk down a small hill to the beach.
