WHEN LOOKING FOR LAND ON ST JOHN KEEP A FEW THINGS IN MIND:
1. If your lot is facing the west you will be receiving lots of hot afternoon rays from the sun.
2. It is easier to build a house on a lot that slopes down hill from the road.
3. Check out the direction of the prevailing winds. A cooling tropical breeze is a welcome pleasure.

Typically, land prices on St John range from slightly over $100,000 up to $8 million and higher. Land in Peter Bay will be the higher priced parcels on the island. Chocolate Hole has some great buys on half acre or larger lots. There are also several pieces of property in Coral Bay area priced in the mid $400,000's. This may be a good time to invest in a piece of Paradise.
